I have release FocusGTD 3.1 to the testers group. This version is the first one to support the new Database format introduced by OmniFocus 3.4 which now supports dropped actions.
If you have only recently purchased OmniFocus or if you have already migrated your database to the new format, then you were not able to sync anymore using FocusGTD (it showed sync error in the synchronization log).
Obviously, customers were not very happy with this situation. I have now implemented most of the required features to reestablish synchronization even with the latest version.
This means that dropped actions, project, folders, tags will now properly sync over and the FocusGTD will show them accordingly.
What is currently missing in FocusGTD is the ability to actually drop a task or a tag within the app. You still need to resort to OmniFocus for that.
Rest assured that this functionality will be added soon, but it was important to get a vesion out that restores sync compatibility.
v3.1.0
- FEATURE: support Omnifocus 3.4 new file format
- FIX: improved parsing robustness
- FIX: fixed folders created in FocusGTD not synching
As always, the version has been released to the testers group and will be rolled out to the public in the coming days (unless problems occur).
